Sukun Teas – Balance from the Sunnah

Rooted in tradition, guided by nature, and made with intention, Sukun Teas was founded with one goal in mind: to help women reclaim their wellness through natural, Sunnah-inspired healing.

As a Black Muslim woman committed to the teachings and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I created Sukun Teas to fill a deeply personal need. I wanted something more than just another herbal tea; I wanted reliefbalance, and connection. What began as small-batch remedies blended in my own kitchen quickly grew into a purpose-driven business rooted in prophetic wisdom and the sacred power of plants.

“Sukun” means tranquility, and that’s exactly what we aim to offer in every hand-blended cup. Our teas are crafted using high-quality herbs, seeds, and botanicals that have been used for centuries in traditional Islamic and herbal medicine. From hormone-balancing blends to postpartum recovery support, our products are formulated especially for women navigating the physical, emotional, and spiritual demands of life.

Whether you’re easing cramps, calming your digestion, or simply seeking a moment of mindful stillness, Sukun Teas brings you back to balance—naturally and intentionally.

We believe wellness is a form of worship. Through our offerings, we hope to empower women to care for their bodies with love, knowledge, and trust in the healing that already exists in creation.

Our Values:

  • Sunnah-Inspired Wellness: We follow the prophetic tradition of using natural remedies for healing and balance.

  • Handcrafted with Intention: Every blend is made in small batches with care, knowledge, and purpose.

  • Rooted in Sisterhood: We exist to serve and support women - body, mind, and spirit.

  • Faith-Driven Integrity: Our teas are halal, ethically sourced, and always free from synthetic additives.

Join us on this journey back to your natural, God-given state of wellness, known as fitrah. With every cup, you sip tradition, healing, and sukun.

Ten percent (10%) of all profit goes to support the Feed the Hungry program hosted by The Muslim House in Flint, Michigan.
